(1)       Azo-WAX + H2O         →              Azo-WAX fragments

     (insoluble in aqueous alcohol)        (soluble in aqueous alcohol)

Method:                             Based on use of Azo-WAX reagent (590 nm)

Total assay time:               ~ 45 min

Detection limit:                  0.2 U/mL of assay solution
